Lotus Blossom. (Infrared) 

The lotus flower has come to be associated with purity and beauty in Hinduism and Buddhism. The pink lotus flower, which this is, is one of the most celebrated flowers and is considered sacred, the true locus of the Buddha. It is also linked to rebirth and the Egyptians linked it to the sun, which also disappears in the night, only to re-emerge in the morning. No matter how you regard the symbolism of the flower, I think that all can agree that the flower is beautiful and compelling.
